"I just want to tell you again how much I love Arm Candy. It is exactly what I wanted. I am really enjoying all your yummy flavors and feel so much
better about my appearance. I have received lots of compliments. Thank you again." - Stacey Hogan,
Ft Lauderdale, Florida "I am very pleased with
the products I received…and especially pleased with how quickly they arrived. You are doing a great thing to help women
feel and look beautiful!" - Nancy Nagler, Needham,
Massachusetts
"Arm Candy designs are sophisticated, and playful and can be worn with my jeans and t-shirts or
with a dress. Additionally, Arm Candy changed my view on lymphedema. I no longer have to look like I have lymphedema, instead I
look like a fashion statement!" - Christine Guerra, Atlanta, Georgia I just received my 4 "arm candy"
covers and think they are absolutely AWESOME! I am going to wear the blue one today!!! When we return from our
trip, I am sure I will be ready to order all of the other flavors I don't have......they are so "fun" to have, compared
to the ugly compression sleeve. This definitely helps to make a "not-so-great" situation bearable now! Thanks for all of your help and I wish you the very best! - Kim Dunn, Covington, Ohio "As
a Breast Cancer Oncologist, I advise women to purchase compression sleeves for when they fly or exercise, even if they don't
have lymphedema. Those women that do have it, have to wear a compression sleeve all the time. Warrior Wear, Inc.
and their product, Arm Candy have made it easier for women everywhere to be
fashionable yet practical."
-Alejandra Perez, MD, Hollywood, Florida When I work out at the gym, the old sleeves I wore looked so medicinal and these are fun and I feel less like a person
with a medical condition and more like a funky fashion trend setter. Thank you for the great
product. -Allison Haas, Tenafly, New

ARM CANDY SWEETENS THE LOOK FOR BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS - NEW FASHION ACCESSORY THAT COVERS UNSIGHTLY compression sleeves -
Ft. Lauderdale, FL October 1, 2008 – Arm Candy, the first fashion accessory designed for breast cancer
survivors who suffer from lymphedema or chronic arm swelling, is now available at www.warriorwear4u.com. Arm Candy fashion sleeves from Warrior Wear, Inc. are designed to cover unsightly medical
compression sleeves that must be worn daily. Arm Candy now makes it easier to wear short sleeves and strapless
dresses by covering up in style. Arm Candy is available in Nine yummy flavors and three sizes: The
handcrafted, lightweight fashion sleeves cost $24.95 each. “Compression
sleeves are important but they are pretty ugly and I felt ugly wearing one,” said Carolyn Newman, Warrior Wear, Inc.
president and a cancer survivor. “I like to dress nicely but my compression sleeve made me look unfeminine and unstylish.
I knew there had to be an easy way to cover the compression sleeve and developed Arm Candy. Now
people complement my look instead of feeling sorry for me.” Nearly
30 percent of breast cancer survivors experience lymphedema, an incurable and chronic side effect of surgery and radiation
that causes the lymph nodes, limbs and extremities to swell. Medical compression sleeves are mandatory to reduce swelling
and possible infection caused by lymphedema and many breast cancer patients are advised
to wear the sleeves prophylactically as well. Medical compression sleeves come
in one color – a light beige “band-aid” hue – making the task of wardrobe coordination almost impossible.
Arm
Candy is available online and through select breast cancer boutiques. About Warrior Wear, Inc. Warrior Wear, Inc. creates and manufactures
fashion accessories that add flair to medical devices, such as compression sleeves or prosthetics. Diagnosed
with stage 3 breast cancer in May 2006, Carolyn Newman had a radical bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction, chemotherapy
and radiation. Surviving that made her feel like a warrior. She developed lymphedema
soon after and was forced to wear a medical compression sleeve. Needing a fashion update, Newman and her
partners, designed arm sleeves that matched her outfits and Warrior Wear, Inc. was formed. Today the
company sells its Arm Candy line of fashion sleeves nationwide. For more information, please visit www.warriorwear4u.com
